0Speech team to compete in Detroit Lakes on Saturday
Monica Hansen and Breanna Bunkowski advanced to the final round of the largest speech meet of the season for Henning on Saturday in Perham. The team will compete in another meet in Detroit Lakes on Saturday.
On Saturday, the Henning speech team competed in Perham at their largest invitational of the season, with 240 competitors represented from 21 teams. Special congratulations go to the following competitors for holding their own at this rigorous meet.
Breanna Bunkowski broke into the final round of Humorous Interpretation and placed third. (There were 35 competitors entered in Humorous Interpretation.)
Moncia Hansen broke into the final round of Prose Interpretation and placed fifth. She also broke into the Next-In Round of Dramatic Interpretation and placed first. (There were 28 entries in Prose Interpretation and 18 entries in Dramatic Interpretation.)
This Saturday, the team will compete at its last pre-season invitational at Detroit Lakes.
