Henning took a slim 25-22 lead at halftime and hung on for their 13th straight win as they defeated Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal by a score of 58-49.

“Tonight was a physical battle. NCE/UH plays a really tough schedule and is much better than their record,” said head coach Randy Misegades. “We had to battle through some adversity tonight and found a way to get the job done in a game where we shot the ball poorly. These types of games should help us get ready for March.”

As a team the Hornets shot just 37 percent from the field and made just 4-19 from behind the 3-point line. Nonetheless, Henning made up for a tough night shooting from the field at the free throw line as they went 16-21 from the charity stripe. Mason Hammer went 8-9 from the free throw line to finish with 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Kale Misegades finished with a team-high 17 points on just 7-12 shooting. He added 7 rebounds and 4 steals in the win. Tyson Misegades also reached double figures with 16 points, while Eli Reinbold scored 7 point and Lane Dilly finished with 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
