Snowmobiler injured near Underwood

Sheriff deputies, on Feb. 22, reported an injury to a juvenile snowmobiler on the west side of Bass Lake near Underwood.
Deputies said a group of juveniles were riding snowmobiles when one of them, at 4:12 p.m., hit a man-made snow embankment and crashed. The injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
The juvenile was taken to a Fargo hospital.
Thefts reported
Thefts with large dollar amounts were reported Feb. 22 at Walker Lake near the northeast side of Otter Tail Lake and at another location on Highway 210 in central Otter Tail County.
The theft at Walker Lake involved tools taken from a job trailer. Taken were Dewalt tools and a Stihl demo saw valued at $4,150.
The resident who lives near Highway 210 reported the theft of copper valued at close to $5,000.
