Community Ed. to host upcoming classes

Take charge of your emotions- Join the instructor as she discusses ways to successfully manage a persons emotions. Class participants will make a rollerball with essential oils that they can take home. The class is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 23 from 6-7 p.m. at the Henning School. Class fee is $16. Registration deadline is February 16.
Safely help your pets with Essential Oils – Participants will discuss the myth that essential oils are harmful to animals and learn safe ways to use them with pets. Participants will be able to take home recipes for different issues with dogs, cats and horses. Class is scheduled for Monday, March 6 from 6-7 p.m. at the Henning School. The class fee is $16 per person. Registration deadline is February 27.
Cut the cable – Are you paying too much for cable? Do you want to watch the same channels at a much lower cost or even free? Participants will discuss what people will need for devices to get the free channels and what they will need for streaming options. The instructor will show participants how he went from paying a $180 cable bill per month to around $58 per month. The class is scheduled for Monday, March 20 from 6-8 p.m. at the Henning School. The class fee is $10. Registration deadline is March 13.
Winter apothecary body butter and salves class – In this class participants will learn how to make skin butter for dry, winter skin. Body butter’s natural oil, sheas, and use of aromatherapy essential oils provide versatile options to make a one of a kind product. Participants will also learn to make a cozy themed salve. These items are perfect for your own use or would make great gifts as well. Ingredients, use and intentions of scents will be explained and discussed. Class is taught by Master Gardener Christina Peeters Kickhafer. The class is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Henning School. The class fee is $22. Registration deadline is February 9.
