OTC to host triangular on Tuesday night in Henning

The Otter Tail Central Bulldogs fell to 1-9 on the season with three losses in duals.

  On Tuesday night the Bulldogs fell to both Osakis by a score of 57-21 and Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Browerville by a score of 75-6, before falling to Wadena-Deer Creek by a score of 58-20 on Friday night.

This week the wrestlers will host a triangular in Henning against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale/Parkers Prairie and United North Central on Tuesday night, before traveling to New York Mills for a triangular against the Eagles and Mahnomen/Waubun on Thursday night.

A busy week will come to a close on Saturday when the Bulldogs will travel to New York Mills for the Park Region Conference Tournament. 

Tuesday

Otter Tail Central traveled to fourth ranked Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Browerville on Tuesday night for a triangular against the Wolves and Osakis. 

The Bulldogs fell to LPGEB by a score of 75-6 and Osakis by a score of 57-21.

In their match against the Silverstreaks, the Bulldogs came out on the short end of the opening five matches of the night, before picking up back-to-back wins by Conner Nelson by forfeit at 138 lbs. and a pin by Tommy Ehlert at 145 lbs. 

Xander Lewis secured a pin at the 4:58 mark of his 170 lbs. match, before Josh Larson picked up a quick fall at 220 lbs. to end the scoring for the Bulldogs.

Friday

OTC won four matches on Friday night as they fell to Wadena-Deer Creek by a score of 58-20. 

OTC secured its first win of the match when Mason Christianson defeated James Seelhammer by a fall at 126 lbs.

The Bulldogs won back-to-back major decisions at 138 lbs. and 145 lbs. by Conner Nelson and Tommy Ehlert, before Kale Rich ended the night with a quick pin at 285 lbs. to make the score 58-20 in favor of the Wolverines.
