Six Henning School students competed in the Elks district hoop shoot in Wadena.  The students, ages 8-13, competed in their physical education class for the right to represent Henning at the district shoot in Wadena.  8-9 competitiors were Brody Iliff and Mila Umland, 10-11 competitiors were Samuel Lynch and Hailey Fiskum and 12-13 competitors were Easton Misegades and Alivia Emter. Three of the Henning competitors also won their age group at the Wadena District shoot and competed at the Elks Regional hoop shoot. Brody Iliff, Mila Umland and Alivia Emter all advanced to the next round of competition, which was held in Brainerd, Minn. last weekend.
