The Henning third grade girls basketball team took second place in their first tournament of the season on Saturday. The Hornets defeated Park Rapids 2 in the opening round by a score of 6-4, before defeating Frazee by a score of 24-6 in the second round. Henning then fell to Park Rapids 1 in the championship game. Team members participating in the tournament included: Front row: Johanna Saari, Kyleigh Larson, Shelby Loock and Hannah Weller. Back row: Koli Torgerson, Mila Umland, Willow Beattie, Makayla Menze and Korie Koenen. The team is coached by Chad Koenen, Jason Torgerson and Denise Menze.
