Open gym to begin November 30 at Henning School

• Cyber Security Tips & Tricks class is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Henning Public School.  The instructor will go over how to unsubscribe from listservs to help keep an inbox clear of spam emails or text messages.  He will also go over software options to buy or just how to be more aware of internet surfing so people don’t end up with ads popping up on their screen all the time. The class fee is $10.  Registration deadline is December 5.  

• Winter Apothecary Body Butter class is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Henning Public School.  Join Master Gardener Christina Peeters Kickhafer as participants learn how to make skin butter for dry, winter skin.  Body butter’s natural oil, sheas, and use of aromatherapy essential oils provide versatile options to make a one-of-a-kind product. This is a great for participants or to give as a gift!  Class fee is $12. Registration deadline is December 6.

• Winter Apothecary Salves class is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Henning Public School.  Join Master Gardener Christina Peeters Kickhafer as participants learn to make a cozy-themed salve. Perfect for participants own use or for a stocking stuffer.  Ingredients, use and intentions of scents will be explained and discussed.  Class fee is $12.  Registration deadline is December 1.  

• Rustic Art Sets/Rustic Quote Art class is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Henning Public School.  Class participants can choose to do the Rustic Art Sets project or the Rustic Quote Art project.  Rustic Art Sets includes three wooden pine boards and participants choose the three words they want to use from Art Bar 39’s list of words or participants can choose your own.  Rustic Quote Art is one solid pine board with one quote option.  Please indicate when registering which project you would like to do. This is a fun class that can get a bit messy, please wear something you don’t mind getting paint on. Class fee is $40. Registration deadline is November 29.  

Open gym nights are back at the Henning School starting Wednesday, Nov. 30.  Open gym volleyball will meet in the elementary gymnasium from 7-9 p.m. and open gym basketball will meet in the high school gymnasium from 7-9 p.m.  Participation fee is $3/night or $10/month.  Please bring payment to open gym night.
