A pair of trunk or treats in Henning, as well as the annual trunk or treat in Ottertail were held on Monday evening. The fifth annual trunk or treat at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church featured a variety of characters like the Muppet’s, as well as some friendly workers from McDonald’s at the drive thru. A second trunk or treat was held at the city hall parking lot and featured several trunks that were decorated for the occasion. The annual Ottertail trunk or treat featured a variety of arts and crafts projects, as well as a dozen trunks at the community center. One of the more popular stops during trick or treating was a house located on Highway 210 just outside of Henning. The large yard was filled with Halloween decorations and lights, including some skeletons in the upstairs windows.
