The seventh and eighth grade football teams kicked off their seasons with a couple close and tough games. The eighth graders fell to Parkers Prairie in their regular season opener by a score of 14-0 and the seventh graders fell by a score of 20-0.

The following week the Bulldogs made huge improvements in Battle Lake as they took on the Underwood Rockets. The eighth grade team lost by a score of 28-0 and the seventh grade team battled throughout and continually drove the ball down the field with a couple turnovers bringing their potential scoring drives to a stop. The game ended at a tie 8-8.
