The Henning Hornets opened their regular season with a pair of non-conference wins last week. On Tuesday the Hornets defeated the Underwood Rockets by a score of 3-1, before they picked up a 3-0 over Breckenrdige in a rematch of last year’s sub section championship game on Thursday. This week the Hornets will host Verndale on Thursday night, before participating in the Browerville Tournament on Saturday. Left: Myiesha Antoni tips the ball over the net against Underwood last week.
