A stay of adjudication was issued by county court judges for three felony cases in Otter Tail County.
Under a stay of adjudication, while the probation is going on, it is a pending case. This is the same as being charged and awaiting trial. Once probation is over the case will be dismissed.
Receiving stays of adjudication were Sebastian Lee Rogers, 19, of Battle Lake; Angela Marlene Salazar, 53, of Vergas; and Brennan Paul Beaulieu, 22, of Fergus Falls.
Rogers, originally charged with felony fifth degree drug possession, pled guilty on May 19 and received the stay of adjudication from the judge on July 15. Supervised
probation is five years.
Salazar, originally charged with felony fifth degree drug possession, pled guilty on June 6. She received the stay of adjudication from the judge on July 11. Supervised probation is five years.
Both Rogers and Salazar were ordered by the county court judges to complete chemical assessments and follow the recommendations of the evaluations.
Beaulieu, originally charged with felony theft of a motor vehicle, pled guilty on July 11. He received the stay of adjudication from the judge on July 11. Supervised probation is five years.
Beaulieu also was ordered by the county court judge to complete a chemical assessment and follow the recommendations of the evaluations.
