The streets of Henning came alive on Saturday for the annual Ronald McDonald House Ride. Over 500 motorcycles participated in the event, which raised money for the Ronald McDonald House. The exact amount of money raised was not available at the time of press.

The event is the world’s largest motorcycle ride to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. The 22nd annual event started in New York Mills and made stops in Henning and Clitherall on Saturday.

Last year 447 motorcycles participated in the event, which raised $135,000 for the Ronald McDonald House.

Other highlights Saturday included the hot dog challenge at the Henning stop, which challenged participants to eat 500 hot dogs for a free-will donation with the proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House.

The winner of the 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle was Leah Terry from Argusville, N.D.
