OTC to compete at True Team meet in Pelican Rapids

The Otter Tail Central track teams competed at the Hank Emmel Invite on Thursday in Pelican Rapids.

Otter Tail Central junior Ally Hart led the charge for the Bulldogs in the high jump as she took third place with a jump of 4’8”. The 800-meter sprint relay medley team also secured a top finish as they took second place with a time of 2:02.24. 

Ava Eckhoff finished a busy day by finishing in 18th place in the shot put with a throw of 27’9 1/2”, and 28th place in the discus with a throw of 63’.

On the boys side, Peter Newark led the way with a fifth place finish in the 3200-meter run with a time of 10:57.95. 

In addition to their meet in Pelican Rapids, the Bulldogs competed at the United North Central track meet on Tuesday. Results from that meet were not available at the time of press. 

This week the Bulldogs will compete at the True Team Section meet on Tuesday in Pelican Rapids, before traevling to the Perham Invite on Thursday.
