Power outage set for Saturday night in Henning

The City of Henning will have a planned power outage beginning at 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. The potential outage impact window will go until 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 10.
According to Jake Williams, of the Henning Public Utilities, the planned power outage is needed to replace a regulator. He said the outage could be restored in as short of time as 4-5 hours if everything goes according to plan.
Residents are asked to make alternative arrangements for essential equipment that is power dependent.
