Trailer stolen near Rush Lake in rural Ottertail

Sheriff deputies, on March 24, reported the theft of a flatbed ABU trailer from a location near Rush Lake, north of Ottertail and south of Perham.
The estimated value was $4,870.
Deputies said the flatbed ABU was purchased in conjunction with a portable refrigeration unit. The hitch was painted orange by the owner.
The trailer was likely stolen between March 17 and March 24.
Injury on I-94
One person was injured in an accident along Interstate 94, in southwestern Otter Tail County, at 1:31 p.m. on March 24.
“The vehicle crashed in the eastbound lane,” said a sheriff deputy.
Assisting members of the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office were members of the Minnesota State Highway Patrol.
