Members of Kala Mills’ third grade class at Henning School have been having an egg-celent time with a new egg and chicken lesson in class. The students have been watching 30 eggs over the past few weeks and waiting for the chickens to hatch. Nearly all of the eggs hatched prior to Monday morning as the students got ready to move them to their new home (above). The project is a collaboration between Henning School and the Extension office. For more information about the project, check an upcoming issue of the Citizen’s Advocate.
