Firefighters from Henning, Vining, Elbow Lake, Wendal, Evansville and Miltona came to Henning on Saturday morning for a Firefighter 1 training course. The fire departments trained inside a house located at 200 Balmoral Ave. in Henning, before burning the house down when the training exercises were completed. Throughout the morning the house was started on fire and quickly extinguished to give firefighters additional training in combating a blaze.
