The sixth grade Henning Hornet girls basketball team traveled to Bertha-Hewitt and brought home second place on Feb. 19. The Hornets beat Long Prairie-Grey Eagle in the first game, Bertha-Hewitt in the second and lost to a very physical Staples-Motley team 18-9 in the championship game. Team members include: Front row: Abbi Godding, Zoey Gruber, Jazmine Saari and Alivia Emter. Addison Bode, Brynn Reinbold, Ella Horn, Haley Hanson and Bella Olson.
