Several fish houses and dozens of people attended the Henning Rod and Gun Snow Derby on Saturday in Henning. The event was held in place of the annual Henning Rod and Gun Ice Fishing Derby, which was canceled due to poor ice conditions on Middle Leaf Lake. The event was held at the Henning Festival Grounds and featured a variety of games and activities for local youth, as well as food, raffle and a bon fire.
