Sheriff deputies, on Jan. 6, reported two injuries during a two-vehicle accident at 7:55 a.m. north of Underwood.

The injured individuals were two children. 

Deputies said the accident took place near the intersection of Highways 1 and 35. One of the children was transported by family members to a nearby hospital. 

The other vehicle entered a nearby ditch, according to sheriff deputies.

At least four storage lockers were broken into at Lake Lizzie, northeast of Pelican Rapids.

Sheriff deputies said the break-ins were reported on Jan. 6, and that thieves probably entered some units late in 2021.
