Tell us about your family: I have been married to my wonderful husband Chance for 10 years and we have two boys together, Cord (10) and Kayden (7)

What are some of your hobbies? Our family is huge into Cowboy Mounted Shooting. We travel all over the Midwest to compete in competitions where we shoot .45 revolvers at balloon targets. I will be traveling to Amarillo, TX in October for the World Cowboy Mounted Shooting Competition to participate. We also enjoy barrel racing as well as trail riding all of the beautiful areas Minnesota has to offer. We are avid fisherman as well as enjoy hunting. I currently work for TriCounty Ambulance as an EMT.

How long have you been on the ambulance service? I joined Henning Ambulance the end of February 2021, however I broke my leg the following week and did not start working until the end of April 2021.

Why did you join the ambulance service?  I enjoy helping the community and wanted to help keep the Henning Ambulance in service.

What do you enjoy about being on the department? The friendships I have made as well as the family like feel we have of our small service.

What has been the most rewarding part of being on the ambulance service? Getting to know the community better and feeling like we have been welcomed with open arms. We recently moved to Henning from southern Iowa and joining the ambulance has helped us get to know the area and community better. I greatly enjoy working to keep those around the community safe and healthy and assisting them when something medical or traumatic may arise.
