Landmark Center

A Magical Medora Christmas show scheduled for Dec. 19 in Henning has canceled due to several cast and crew members testing positive for COVID-19.

Anyone who purchased a ticket should contact Henning Landmark at 548-5760 this week for a full refund. Medora assures us they will return to Henning in 2022. A revised tour schedule is available online at www.Medora.com

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to your holiday event planning.

Please watch for a new schedule of events for 2022 and remember that the Landmark Center is always available for you to use for public or private gatherings, meetings, workshops, and retreats.

We encourage you to become a member of the Landmark Center and find time to volunteer to help us with special events, updating our history center, maintaining our summer garden, or other day to day projects within our facility.

Thank you to all of our current members and donors for your financial support. We especially want to thank the Espeland Family Foundation, The City of Henning, Lake Region Electric Cooperative, and Lake Region Arts Council for the many Arts related grants we receive.

LRAC also provides the Landmark Center with an Operating Support Grant, which paid $6000 towards utility and salary expenses in 2021. “This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.” Thank you all for your support.

As we near Christmas and New Year festivities, Henning Landmark Center would like to say thank you to our entire community for the support you offer to Landmark and other area organizations. Stay strong and united, reach out and help your neighbors, be kind to one another, and take pride in the place we call home.
