The Landmark Center has received a grant from the Lake Region Electric Cooperative to purchase an AED portable defibrillator, which is now on-hand for medical emergencies. In addition, the Landmark Center will offer two CPR training sessions in January 2022, led by professionals from Tri-County Health Care. Please watch for dates when available. 

The Landmark Center will offer wreathmaking on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., while supplies last. A $10 fee will supply you with materials and decorations to create a unique holiday wreath that will last throughout the season.

Beverage and a Book will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 23 from 2-4 p.m. to discuss “The Book Thief.” Copies of this book are available at the Landmark Center for those wishing to join the discussion.

The Viking Library Bookmobile visits Henning every other Tuesday with next dates set for November 9 and November 23 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in front of the Landmark Station building. Order books online and have them arrive in Henning for pick-up.

Santa Day activities are being planned for Saturday, Dec. 4, including lighted a Christmas parade, community tree lighting at the Landmark Center, Henning Lions Club luncheon, hot chocolate by local youth groups, and a special visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus. More details and times to come soon.

Tickets are now available for A Magical Medora Christmas as they return with an all new 2021 performance at the Henning School Gymnasium on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 4:30 p.m. Doors will open at 4 p.m. with a bell choir by Gloria Axelson, and door prize raffle drawing. 

Tickets are $30 each, cash or check, and available exclusively through Henning Landmark Center or at one of the local First National Bank locations. Credit card purchases can be made at the Landmark Center with additional $2 per ticket. Please mark your calendars and join us for an evening of Christmas celebration.
