A new business in downtown Henning will help area residents get in touch with their creativity. The Art Room recently opened in the front of the Vanity Beauty Salon on Douglas Avenue. Owner Erin Weiss hopes the business will be a place where artists of all levels will be able to get away and work on a project. The Art Room will be available to anyone who needs workspace or supplies to work on their art project. The space will also double as a location for one of her other businesses “Gallery on the Go with Erin Weiss.” As part of Gallery on the Go, Weiss hosts parties in which participants will create a painting or other project with a group of friends.
