Girls team takes eighth place at sections

Erika Heibel helped the girls cross country team finish in sixth place at the section meet.

The Otter Tail Central boys took sixth and the girls finished in eighth place at the Section 6A cross country meet at Minnewaska Area High School on Friday. 

Kyleigh Shebek was the top finisher for the Bulldogs as the sophomore finished in 26th place with a time of 21:50.

Joseph Froslee finished in 41st place at the section cross country meet on Friday at Minnewaska Area High School.

Eighth grader Nora Froslee finished in 34th place with a time of 22:27, while Erika Heibel took 39th place with a time of 22:41. Ally Goodman took 54th place with a time of 23:48, Laney Frost took 59th place with a time of 24:00, Raeanne Frost took 65th place with a time of 24:23 and seventh grader Delia Tebrugge took 67th place with a time of 24:39. 

The Bulldogs boys team was led by Isaac Scherfenberg who finished in 33rd place with a time of 18:50. 

Blake Alonzo took 37th place with a time of 18:53, while Joseph Froslee took 41st place with a time of 18:59, Peter Newark took 49th place with a time of 19:17, Talyn Setterholm took 51st place with a time of 19:20, Jonas Hegemeister took 56th place with a time of 19:29 and Kyle Tierney finished in 67th place with a time of 20:12. 

Staples-Motley won the boys meet with a score of 48 with West Central Area taking second place with a score of 58. The Bulldogs finished with a score of 211. 

The Cardinals also won the girls meet with a score of 44 with Minnewaska Area taking second place with a score of 65. The Bulldogs finished in eighth place with a score of 197.
