The Landmark Center sponsored a special showing of “The Lion In Winter” on Thursday at the Trininty Center in Henning.

Tickets are now available for A Magical Medora Christmas as they return with an all new 2021 performance at the Henning School gymnasium. The performance will take place on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 each, cash or check, and available exclusively through Henning Landmark Center or at one of the local First National Bank locations. Credit card purchases through the Landmark Center is available with an addititional charge of $2 per ticket.

Mari Fredericks will host a stamp card making workshop at the Landmark Center this Saturday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call Mari to register at (601) 951-0747.

The Landmark Center will offer wreathmaking on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A $10 fee will supply you with materials and decorations to create a unique holiday wreath that will last throughout the season.

Beverage and a Book will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 23 from 2-4 p.m. to discuss “The Book Thief.” Copies of this book are available at the Landmark Center for those wishing to join the discussion.

The Viking Library Bookmobile visits Henning every other Tuesday with next dates set for November 9 and 23 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in front of the Landmark Station building. Order books online and have them arrive in Henning for pick-up.

Santa Day activities are being planned for Saturday, Dec. 4, including lighted Christmas parade, community tree lighting at the Landmark Center and a special visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Details to come soon.
