What are some of your hobbies? I love to play competitive sports, be on the lake, hunt, and spend as much time with family and friends as I can.
Where do you work/what do you do? I am a sales rep for Oak Hill Ag Service which is a few miles South of the city of Henning.
How long have you been on the ambulance service? I have been with the Henning Ambulance for about a year, along with the Henning Fire Department this past spring.
Why did you join the ambulance service? I joined the ambulance service to help out in my community and to get more experience in the medical field.
What do you enjoy about being on the department? My interest in being a part of an EMS/Fire crew originally started with my dad, as he is a volunteer fireman of 21 years for the small town of Raymond, which I grew up in. It has always been a dream of mine to do what my dad did. When I moved to Henning, I wanted ways to get involved in the community that welcomed me in. I joined the Henning Ambulance to get involved and give back.
What has been the most rewarding part of being on the ambulance service? The most rewarding thing for me is seeing the thankfulness from the people we serve, and how it doesn’t go unnoticed. The community of Henning has many services to offer to the people, and I’m happy to be a part of that.
