Amie Johnson is hoping to help local residents find the home of their dreams. The Henning resident recently joined Keller Williams Realty and is excited to turn her passion for housing into a new career.

Her passion for housing dates back to her time in the Twin Cities. Johnson said her sister and her would oftentimes go to open houses in the Twin Cities to see new features and other homes in the community.

“My sister and I would go to the open houses down in Minnetonka and check them out,” she said. “It’s always been a passion.”

Johnson joined Keller Williams in August and wants to use her expertise in the housing market to help others find the homes of their dreams.

“I want to help people find a comfortable home they can enjoy,” she said.

In order to help kick off her real estate career, Johnson is helping to organize a winter clothing drive at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Henning. The event will feature free socks, coats, scarves, gloves, sweaters and blankets for everyone in need. There will be no need to register to attend. The clothing drive will be held on Oct. 15 from 2-6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Anybody who would like to donate an item for the clothing drive should contact Johnson at (218) 579-0822 or by email at Amie.Johnson@kw.com and she will come to pick up the items on each doorstep.

Anyone who would like to list a house, or have Johnson assist them in finding the home of their dream, should contact her at  (218) 579-0822 or by email at Amie.Johnson@kw.com
