The Otter Tail Central cross country teams will travel to Perham on Thursday night for a large cross country meet. 

Boys, girls teams take seventh, Bulldogs to travel to Perham for large meet on Thursday

The Otter Tail Central cross country team traveled to the Fergus Falls Hermes Invite on Thursday. The meet was the lone action for the Bulldogs last week.

In the boys varsity meet the Bulldogs finished in seventh place with 192 points, they were just 3 points behind Breckenridge for sixth place. Fargo North won the meet with 47 points, while West Central Area took second with 59 points. 

The top finisher for the Bulldogs was Isaac Scherfenberg who took 34th place with a time of 19:27, while Blake Alonzo finished in 41st place with a time of 20:07 and Jonas Hegemeister took 42nd place with a time of 20:17.

Kyle Tienery was right on their tails as he took 45th place with a time of 20:43 and August Wicklund finished in 48th place with a time of 20:53.

On the girls side of the meet, Kyleigh Shebek led the charge for the Bulldogs as she took 25th place with a time of 22:13, while Erika Heibel took 31st place with a time of 22:47. 

Laney Frost finished in 38th place with a time of 23:45, Raeanne Frost took 43rd place with a time of 24:42 and Ally Goodman took 50th place with a time of 25:45. 

As a team the girls finished in seventh place with 170 points, just 1 points behind Breckenridge who took sixth place with 169 points. 

This week the Bulldogs will compete at a large meet in Perham on Thursday night.
