It is really starting to feel like Fall now, with the darkness coming earlier and the trees changing colors. We are celebrating fall with the preview of three fun books.

These books are available at our library, which is open to the public on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. following the school calendar.

Our first book is entitled “Fall is Here!” and is written by Jane Moncure. This book introduces the reader to the fall leaves and their colors, the birds migrating south, the harvesting of gardens and the animals that are scurrying around getting their homes ready for winter. The illustrations are well done in this book and have a soft color palette.

Book number two is “How Do We Know It Is Fall?” written by Allan Fowler.  This book is full of vivid photographs of everything from football to family gatherings.

Book number three is “Fall” and is written by Maria Rius.  This children’s book is full of fun illustrations that your child or grandchild will love. There are many great spots for you as the reader, to stop and engage with your child about what is happening in the book. This book has great explanations as to why fall is happening and how we can enjoy it.
