The Henning Rod and Gun Club summer trap shooting season has concluded. There were 24 shooters participating in all, or some, of the 12 round summer event.

The group was hampered by heat, wind, two nights of rain and most all the availability of ammunition.

Jim Strege posted the high average of 22.3 (out of 25), Wayne Bronson had an average of 21.8, Roy Bronson had an average of 17.6 and Bill Ruhland had an average of 16.2.

Those posting a 25 straight round included: Wayne Sandahl, Larry Fuller, Larry Kobes, Dakota Aeling, Jason Haugen and Jim Strege. Greg Smith posted a 50 straight night on the last night of shooting.

The high school fall league has reserved the trap range and will shoot on Monday nights at 5 p.m.
