Event to be held at the Henning Event Center

There is nothing quite like biting into a hunk of juicy turkey, and the Henning Area Chamber of Commerce is hoping to provide a delicious end to summer during the annual World Famous Turkey BBQ on Friday. The turkey bbq will be held on Friday at the Henning Event Center from 4:30-7 p.m. 

While turkey will be the main course, organizers have been known to also include a variety of other meats on the menu, in addition to potatoes, beans, a bun and a beverage. The cost to attend is $10 for people ages 13 and older, $5 for children ages 5-12 and kids ages 4 and under can eat free.

Ice cream and a bake sale will also be available at the World Famous Turkey BBQ. 

Also on Friday will be the Crazy Day sales at downtown Henning businesses, see page 12, as well as the Tri-County Cruisers Car show in downtown Henning, which will be held from 2-6 p.m.
