0NYM man sentenced for felony vehicle theft

The following felony convictions and sentences took place in recent weeks in county court, Fergus Falls.
Nathaniel James Littrell, 23, of the city of Ottertail, was sentenced June 1 in county court, following a firearms felony conviction.
Littrell’s sentencing of five years to the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud was stayed for seven years, depending on good behavior. Work release during local confinement in the county jail was approved by the judge.
He will follow directives of his probation agent for seven years.
Henry William Jay, 31, of New York Mills, was sentenced June 21 following a felony conviction of vehicle theft.
A sentence of 13 months to the state correctional facility in St. Cloud was stayed for five years, depending on good behavior. Local confinement in the county jail, Fergus Falls, amounted to 90 days.
He was ordered by the judge to follow directives of his probation officer during the probationary period of five years.
Sandy Denise Kenyon, 52, of New York Mills, received a stay of adjudication in county court on June 7 related to a felony charge of attempting to disarm a peace officer.
Under a stay of adjudication, while the probation is going on, it is a pending case, the same as being charged and awaiting trial. Once probation is over the case will be dismissed.
She was ordered to have a mental health evaluation and follow recommendations. Supervised probation is for five years.
Tracy Ann Slavik, 41, of Dent, was sentenced June 11 following a felony conviction of fifth degree drug possession.
A sentence of 13 months in the state correctional facility at Shakopee, southwest of the Twin Cities, was stayed for five years dependent on good behavior.
Local confinement in the county jail will include electronic home monitoring. Slavik must cooperate with her probation agent during the search of her person, residence, vehicle, workplace and property.
Supervised probation is for five years.
