0The Henning Hornet trap team recently wrapped up its spring season. The team capped off its season at the state shoot held in Alexandria, Minn., on June 14. The Hornets had a great regular season as they finished as the conference runner up.
“We had a great group of seniors and they shot well all season, they will be missed greatly next year not only for their shooting but their leadership as well. Our underclassmen are showing great strides and improving each time they shoot, with a few of them already ready to fill our seniors’ big shoes. I think the team as a whole had a lot of fun this year.”

“I’m really proud of this group, they pick each other up and know how to have a lot of fun. It’s easy to do when we get to shoot a bunch! This group earned their hardware this year, adding that plaque to the showcase is something they should all be really proud of,” said Aeling.
