Hammer honored by Prep Hoops

Mason Hammer, who is the son of Brandi and Chris Hammer of rural Henning, has been named to the Prep Hoops Class A all sophomore third team. According to Prep Hoops, Hammer averaged 15 points per game last year for a Henning Hornets team that finished the season with a record of 14-6. Other Section 6A and area players named to the Prep Hoops sophomore team was Kaden Pieper, of BBE, who was named to the second team and Clint Determan, of Wheaton-Herman-Norcross, who was named to the fourth team.
