Henning Landmark presents Teddy Roosevelt at the Trinity Center on Sunday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. Premiere reprisor Joe Wiegand of Medora, N.D. brings Teddy to life during this one-hour event at the Trinity Center in Henning, with a focus on the 125th anniversary of the 1898 Spanish American War and the building of Trinity. Tickets are $18.98 and available through Landmark Center. Please call 548-5760 to purchase, seating is limited.

This Wednesday, July 26 at 7 p.m., we will wrap up our summer series with a musical performance by Ralph Covert of “Ralph’s World,” encouraging both youth and adults to get up and jump around. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to all ages.

The Henning fly-in is coming up this Saturday, July 29 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Henning airport. Head out for breakfast, airplanes and classic cars, at one of the finest grass strip airports in Minnesota. 

Our Beverage and a Book reading group will meet at the Landmark Center from 2-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1 to discuss “The Kennedy Debutante.” Copies of this book are available for those wishing to join the discussion. 

The Viking Library Bookmobile visits Henning every other Tuesday. The next scheduled visit will be on Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in front of the Landmark Station building.

Artist Patricia Wahl will guide an acrylic painting workshop on Saturday, Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participants will create a unique painting based on Vincent VanGough Starry Night and Sunflowers. No prior painting experience is necessary. Please call to RSVP.

Mark your calendars for our annual corn and brat feed scheduled for Friday, Aug. 25. The day will include fresh sweet corn, grilled brats, silent auction items, root beer floats and live music by Wes-Tone featuring Al.
