Landmark kicks off 16th year with annual meeting

The Landmark Center annual meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 11 at 5 p.m., all are welcomed to attend. Please help us celebrate our 16th year as community meeting space, center for arts, local history and retreat center. We will review our events calendar for 2025, vote for officers, and ask for your guidance to help us plan for future activities. Thank you for your support.
Meet author and film maker Beth Howard this Friday and Saturday as she returns to Henning and Wadena. Beth will offer a sneak preview of her new 75-minute Documentary Film “PIEOWA, A Piece of America.” This free screening will be this Friday at the Cornerstone Church at 7 p.m., followed by Q&A.
On Saturday, June 14, Beth will be at the Wadena Train Depot for Book Signing from 10-11:30 a.m., with Q&A and Pie. The World Premier Screening of “PIEOWA, A Piece of America” will be 1pm at the Cozy Theater in Wadena followed by Q&A.
“This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.”
The Henning All-School Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, June 21. Most activities are located at the Fairgrounds event center. Landmark will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. offering coffee and cookies, and a place to relax, connect with free Wi-Fi, and will also be host to the Class of 1952 reunion group. A parade of HHS Classes will begin around 4:30 pm.
Our second floor retreat center still has a few rooms available for anyone spending the night.
