A whole lot of happiness happens in the Henning Public School library each morning. All year long Riley Bode, Natalie Eckhoff and Ally Hart have been bringing morning announcements to our students and staff over the intercom system.

Natalie Eckhoff, Faith Fisher, Aaliyah Olson, Becca Frederick and Ally Hart recently held second grader Nora Mills as the group read the announcements at the school. 

The announcements supply information to everyone about who’s birthday it is, what sporting events and school activities are happening for the day, the lunch menu and the Pledge of Allegiance. Each week an elementary student is chosen to give the Pledge of Allegiance for the entire week. On Fridays, Positive Behavior Incentive winners are announced so it takes more than two people to do the announcements.    

Featured in the photo above is Natalie Eckhoff, Faith Fisher, Aaliyah Olson, Becca Frederick, and Ally Hart holding second grader  Nora Mills. On this particular Friday, Riley Bode was absent and Faith, Aaliyah and Becca stepped in to help Natalie and Ally read all the names.  

This is a great way for the older students to have a positive impact on the younger students.  There is always a great deal of excitement happening at the library, stop on up and check out the weekly featured books and let us help you get some enjoyment from reading.  

We are open to the public on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30-5:30 p.m. following the school calendar.
