Henning preschoolers will have a new face in the classroom this fall as Julie Frost will join the staff. She will join longtime preschool teacher Andria Weller who will guide some of Henning’s youngest students through their first few years in school.

Frost will be teaching in the preschool 4-year-old program after previously teaching in both Battle Lake and Fergus Falls. She said she is looking forward to working with the Henning staff, as well as working with the local preschoolers.

“(I am looking forward to) working with the great Early Childhood team and the rest of the Hornet staff,” she said.

In addition to her husband Don, Frost has four children ranging in age from 16-24, two dogs, a number of cats, ducks and chickens.

Among her favorite memories from when she attended school was throwing a “surprise” birthday party for her elementary teachers.

The first day of school for Henning students is Tuesday, Sept. 6.
