0Terry Lee Oseien, Pensacola, Fla., passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 75. Terry was born in Minneapolis, Minn. on September 11, 1948. At an early age his family moved to the Tampa area where Terry grew up, graduated from high school and cultivated his love for the water. He joined the Navy shortly after graduation, serving first on a submarine then on a Gun ship off the coast of Vietnam. After completing his military commitment he moved to Orlando, Fla., where he pursued his career in drafting and design with Post, Buckley, Schuh and Jernigan engineering. During his time he also became a certified Federal Bridge Inspector which gave him the opportunity “to hang” off many of Florida’s most well known bridges.
He met Nancy in 1986 and they were married in 1988. They shared many hours boating on the St. John’s River then moved to the Pensacola area in 1995. He became active with the Hadji Shrine as well as the American Legion Post 340.
Terry is survived by his wife Nancy, step daughter Allison (Jeff), Ocoee, Fla.; grandchildren Blake and Taylor, brother Ben (Darene), Henning, sister Christine (Roddy) NeeSmith, Riceboro, Ga.; nieces Maryann Trana (Doug), Angie Kemple (Kris), Thomasville, Ga., Kayla Floyd (John), Midway, Ga. and nephew Ben (Jill), Henning.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 4-6 p.m. at Doug and Mary Trana’s cabin at 30626 Edgewater Drive in Henning.
