The annual Henning Landmark Corn and Brat Feed is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, with a free-will meal of fresh cooked sweet corn, grilled brats, chips and beverage, silent auction items, custom quilt raffle, root beer floats, and live music by locals Wes-Tone and A.L.

This event is funded in part by a private donation and a Thrivent Action Team project.

Please join us for this traditional end of Summer celebration with friends, family, and neighbors at the Landmark Center. 

Our Acrylic Painting workshop by Patricia Wahl has been shifted to a later date, Saturday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Patricia will offer step by step instruction to create your uniquely painted version of Vincent VanGough Starry Night and Sunflower paintings mixed onto one 11×14” canvas. No prior painting experience is necessary. More details to come, but please call 548-5760 to RSVP if interested in attending. Space is limited to 12.

The Henning Tri-County Cruisers will host their monthly Rock, Roll, and Stroll car show this Friday from 4-8 p.m. on the streets of Henning. Also Friday evening, you can head to the Henning Fairgrounds for the Annual Turkey BBQ for a wonderful meal. Carry Outs will be available.

Henning Landmark Center will present a pop-up stop and shop market at the Landmark Station on Saturday, Aug. 26 and September 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Vendors items will include fresh baked breads, baked goods, and other specialty items. Please contact Landmark if you wish to participate and have a table at these events.

There are several arts events scheduled at Landmark including a 5-day ceramics workshop in September, the one-day acrylic painting workshop in September, quilting, book club, rug weaving and wet felting. The Landmark Center is also available for your family gatherings, public or private meetings, workshops, retreats, reunions, offering overnight bed space for 10 guests in our historic 1914 facility.
