Henning featured a number of events last week as part of the annual homecoming week celebration. In addition to coronation and a bonfire on Monday night, homecoming week featured a large parade on Friday afternoon with students decorating floats. Among the floats was an eighth grade float with a beach theme (above), as well as a brawl on the sophomore float during a game gone awry (right). Homecoming king and queen, Cayden Dittberner and Alivia Gunderson led off the parade on Friday (below).

Dancing and music were featured throughout the week as students participated in a lip sync contest on Monday afternoon. Among the entrants was the sophomores, who performed a dance routine behind a lead singer (above) and a guitar solo by Brody Lohse during the seventh grade lip sync (right). Friday’s pep fest came to a close when Henning Principal Thomas Williams joined students in the gym in a large dance party (below).
